As of February 2015 Imageland gained a prestigious certification from Ilford, this recognises excellence in the field of colour management, process and quality control. This can be summed up as “we’re fussy”.

We use a range of Ilford papers for printing photos and reproducing art. Ilford photo papers have been around for more than a few days, they got started in 1879 in a basement and have become one of the world’s most respected photographic brands.

There is no paper better that we have been able to find, plenty of claims from many others but side by side nothing is as good. We have the opportunity to work with a massive range of different prints on many great papers in our workshop and the framing team will back up the claims from our lab crew about Ilford papers being the best! Too many low cost, low grade papers are being sold as premium goods, the basic guts of our approach is to use the best because we don’t want you coming back all sad and droopy in a few years because we saved a few dollars.

For Pro photographers this acknowledges our commitment and gives confidence that you will get the result you expect when a good colour management system is used. For regular customers we will continue to tweak and alter images (if required) to get the best possible result. Like we said before, we don’t want people sad and droopy because we didn’t make the extra effort.
