It seems like it’s been a long time coming – we’ve merged our two branches (Imageland Kodak Express and Imageland pciture Framing centre) into one at 55 Lake Road, Frankton! Monday 24^th March was our first day in our newly renovated surroundings and after a week of being here, it feels like home 🙂

It was a mad dash to the end – a lot of blood, sweat & tears went into the renovations – but we are proud as punch of what we have achieved! The initial concept was along the lines of industrial/recycled, to fit in with what we already had to work with in the building. Many brainstorming sessions at the pub and Pinterest pins later, we have this:

What we have now at 55 Lake Road is all your display solutions under one roof – from printing, through to mounting & framing, as well as scanning, restoration, video transfer as well as ID, immigration & passport photos. You can talk directly to the framer or the printer – no more ‘we need to send this to our other store’! We’ve brought our Kodak kiosks over to make it easy to order photos from 6” x 4” to 12” x 8”, photobooks and photos from your smart phone. And, we’re still doing metallic prints (the only lab in Hamilton) as well as BIG prints (up to 44” wide) on site!

Imageland has been a member of Kodak Express since its inception in NZ and continues to be a member at our new store. This means we use only genuine Kodak chemicals & paper to print your photos – because it doesn’t pay to compromise!

And if all of that wasn’t awesome enough, we’ve even got our own car parks at the door for clients to use while in store (we can hear the “YUS!” from all you Hamiltonians from here).

Don’t let the Frankton part put you off either; we have some cool neighbours like Cake Box (their cake is DELICIOUS!), PB Tech, Café Agora, the markets on Saturday mornings, as well as a bunch of tasty food & coffee places!
